Fritillaria Orange Sweet

A striking species of Fritillaria that’s well known by enthusiasts. The orange colour and sturdy stems make this a popular variety. The lower part of the stems is covered with upright or hanging leaves, the upper part is leafless. At the top, there’s a slender flower cluster and a modest crown of green leaves.

Each stem supports up to six bell-shaped, orange flowers. Well-formed, subtly coloured, quite elegant. By nature Fritillaria Orange Sweet has a sweet scent, somewhat reminiscent of cannabis. Some growers cultivate Orange Sweet without her trademark scent.
