Large, orange flowers and a striking imperial crown of green leaves. Make way for the emperor!
With a name meaning ‘imperial crown’, it’s not surprising that this variety has become the symbol of wealth and royalty. And it’s not easy to come by. Aurora is difficult to cultivate and propagate. One large bulb only yields two new bulbs, which means propagation is a lot slower than some other varieties.
Aurora blooms with bright orange flowers. The fragile shape contrasts with the pronounced, bold colour. In the dark heart of the flower you’ll find bright, yellow stamen. The ‘imperial crown’ of green leaves completes the imperial design.
Fritillaria Imperialis Aurora is majestic variety. The perfect eye-catcher for any occasion. Long live the emperor!
